Master Trent is the Kinetic OG. As the founder of Kinetic and the teacher of our Kinetic instructors he officially trains at & teaches at the Cronulla dojang but is often visiting a lot of the other kinetic clubs. You’ll usually find him on the mats critiquing techniques or doing what he loves most, training with the Kinetic Crew. If you’re looking for details, he’s:

Sir George’s life-long journey in martial arts spans almost 30 years. Sir George holds a Shihan title 6th Dan black belt in Shotokan Karate, a purple belt in Brazilian JiuJitsu, and possesses highly developed skills in boxing, kickboxing, and taekwondo technique. He has competed in Australia and overseas, placing in the top 3 for full contact, continuous points kumite (sparring), kata, weapons kata, and team kata. Sir George’s passions extend beyond martial arts to helping people and creating meaningful connections with others. He has devoted 20 years to teaching in regional schools where he has guided students of all ages and abilities towards achieving their goals. Sir George is committed to fostering a community of Kinetic members who share the belief that strength, fitness, and flexibility of the mind and of the body are equally important.

Sir Shamus holds a 2nd Dan in Hapkido and has had a long love affair with martial arts that goes back to his childhood where he first began training in Judo at age 10. He has also completed Jiu Jitsu based self-defence courses at university level and continues his formal training in both BJJ and Hapkido. Sir Shamus is passionate about working with people and has spent most of his adult life working in tourism, hospitality, and disability. His ability to connect with his students combined with his technical focus in Hapkido is the perfect mix for teaching both children and adults.

Sir James has been training in Hapkido since 2007/08 and achieved his Black Belt in 2012. After achieving his Black Belt James also started training in Taekwondo and BJJ and has been able to take the personal development he acquired through his training into his business. Sir James believes that the lessons that we all can learn through martial arts correlate easily into life. You learn to be stronger mentally as well as physically. One of his favourite parts of Hapkido is seeing other students achieve real breakthroughs in their training and reach goals that they thought they would never achieve.

“Kendals”, he is the Dojang Manager, a key Instructor and most importantly an all-round good guy that has a huge amount of enthusiasm for the development of all the students of Kinetic both under his tutelage & even from the other clubs. If you get a chance check out his whip kick!

Sir Dima holds a 1st Dan in Hapkido. Sir Dima started his training back in 2012 and was recruited into the instructor program in 2014 and has been honing his skills in becoming a professional instructor as well as an experienced and well-versed martial artist. Since then he has also engaged in studying behaviour and primary education at university to grow and apply his knowledge as an instructor towards all age groups. Sir Dima received his 1st Dan in Hapkido and has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2013. He is highly focused towards developing a quality and productive environment dedicated to the benefit of his students.

Sir Fish’s journey in Hapkido began over 10 years ago and when he was introduced to the art. Over these years Sir Fish has developed a keen interest in the art with a focus on fitness and coordination. He is currently working as an Engineer but has had a passion for teaching since a young age. This has continued for him throughout his adult life where he has done a lot of coaching for sports and volunteered his time to community programs. Using his life experience and positive attitude, Sir Fish will strive to see improvement in all of his students.
